Christmas Eve

Due to the fact that I'm going back hometown on Chinese New Year's eve, I must get ready my CNY clothes before going back. Final exam's coming soon and next week is my study week. In order to focus on my study later, I went to hunt for CNY clothes earlier today.

Despite my target for today's shopping, Christmas mood is deep within me. (:

The beautiful X'mas decorations at the mall. ^__^

Just love the deco so much. Two X'mas trees. A snowman. Reindeers. There's actually a Santa riding on a sleigh behind those deers. Simply gorgeous!

Also, the deco was spinning slowly and steadily. Cool!

There was a booth providing a sensor gaming machine (don't know the correct name) for the visitors around to play for FREE~ These two kids impressed me alot with their dance moves. Cute!

This is me trying out new clothes in the fitting room.
Not buying it (quite expensive to me) so I took a picture as comfort.
See that disappointed face? > . <

Anyway, I did manage to buy some clothes and heels. Can't wait till CNY~whee~

Last but not least, Merry Christmas once again people!
May all your wishes come true :)

Here are two songs I personally addicted to on this year's X'mas.
Feel free to listen ^^

Taylor Swift's Christmas Must Be Something More. Very meaningful lyrics. :D

Sungha Jung's fingerstyle version of Last Christmas :)
p/s: I am so in love with Sungha Jung!!! <3

15.06.11

Finally~ I've pierced my ears!!

For the first time~

%(>_<)%

Do I look any different?

-current me-

Btw I've also bought myself a bottle of Bio-Oil.

To remove my long-term acne scars.

Well I've been suffering from a serious acne skin condition since puberty. Huhu.

And now it has turned into scars.

Become lots of tiny holes on my face.

Like the Moon's surface.

=.=

(Hey! Lunar Eclipse just occurred on the same day I pierced my ears!)

Then someone recommended me Bio-Oil.

It's quite effective from what she said.

But of course with one condition that I must use it frequently.

So I thought I would like to try it out.

Gonna start using it from now on.

Hope can see the result real soon.

Wish me luck!

xD

Oh ya my friend had just bought a guitar!! woot~

Fyi, my guitar is being left at home so I've not been playing guitar for quite a long time. Huhu. And now I'm really happy 'cause I can use hers to play~ whee~

-another friend (also a blogger - LianaRyan) trying out the guitar-

So Imma making covers again soon!! woohoo~

But maybe the videos will still be low quality 'cause I'll be just using webcam to record again...

anyway...stay tuned yeah~

26.11.10

Last night I was hoping to play badminton at a "free" badminton court in Hokkien Association Hall. Well the court is opened every Friday night for Hokkien Association members to play for free. It's been a long time I didn't practise my skill so I decided to go for it.

However when I reached there, I was surprised to see what's going on.

The court was full of books!! O.O

Then I realised...it must have been rented by some business people to open a book fair. Ahhhh~ it ruined my plan~ T.T So I ended up reading books instead of playing badminton. =/

I was in depressed mood when suddenly something caught my eyes...

It was 九把刀Giddens book!! OMG

-楼下的房客-

I've been in love with Giddens' style of writing ever since I first read one of his books back in college. It was my roommate who recommended me to read it. She is a big fan of him. Thanks to her for lending me the book. ^ ^ Then I remembered she told me 楼下的房客(Apartments For Rent) is very nice. Can say it's epic lol.

And now the book was in front of me. Opened up an opportunity for me to buy it. But I didn't. Cos I think the price was quite expensive. I remembered my roommate bought it at RM10 only and this one costs RM20. That's doubled the price. So it's not worth for me to buy even though I really wish to own it. Then I told myself that I can always read it online. But reading online is different than reading the book itself. Reading the book always feels better. But I still made up my mind not to waste my money in this and I believe I won't regret it. =)

-a clearer view of 楼下的房客-

Although I didn't have the book, I got myself a new pair of Adidas sport shoes last night. Whee~ Guess what? I only bought it at a price of RM29.90!! It's damn cheap for the brand rite? Hahaha. Well I don't know why it's that cheap. Maybe it's a fake one, who knows? =P But it's very comfortable to wear and I am damn satisfied. xD

-Adidas sport shoes-

-the black thingy is my guitar bag-

The black part of the shoes is navy actually.
Anyway, let's hope I can get to play badminton next Friday night. =)

-mission accomplished-

finally i bought my heel. it's not very high cos i'm not used to wear heels and scared that i won't be able to walk steadily if i buy too high. but now i think that i should have buy a higher one cos the type of heel i bought is very firm and i won't feel unstable to wear it due to the upper string that grips my leg. anyway higher heels mean "higher" price. lol. so i am satisfied with this heel lah. hahaha. bdw this time it's Wey Chyi who spotted the heel for me. If you're reading this post, i'd like to say thank you. ^ ^ and i enjoyed my shopping with my indian friends. i realized that walking together with indian gang will feel secure cos nobody will dare to come near us lol. =P

Shopping can really make me forget about everything.

what happened last Friday?

25.06.2010

was the first anniversary of our beloved King Of Pop's death.

i will never forget this day cos it is a day before my birthday every year.

during my last birthday on 26.06.2009

i was so shocked when i read the paper in the morning

saying that MJ had passed away the night before.

so my birthday last year was full of MJ

that's quite unique...i guess? =P

and now...it has been a year since his death

his songs were once again played in remembrance of him

wish you R.I.P MJ

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

I was on my way to Timesquare in a cab with a friend when I heard MJ's songs being played in the radio. Then I remembered. It was MJ's death on this day. That's why I purposely wrote about him as a remembrance following his tragic death
(though it's abit late i know).

I went to Timesquare to find a dress and a high heel for the Prom Night this coming July. So was my friend. I seldom buy dresses or high heels
so I really had no idea what to buy. (I know I am boyish =P) When we reached there we met up with Chia Min, a friend of us from another college and then we shopped together. Luckily she followed us cos both of us didn't know which kind of dress suits us. Her taste was really good. It was her who chose a dress for me.

She spotted a blue dress and said that I look good in blue. I was not sure to buy or not to buy at first cos there's no trying. But then the shop assistant helped me to measure
(roughly) whether I fit the dress or not. It did suit me. She was kinda professional I must say. Must be used to this matter already. =) Then my friend said the dress has fairy-tale-ish look. This made me think of Alice in Wonderland lol. So I finally bought my dress. Thanks to Chia Min.
^ ^

-a sneak peak through my gown-

I noticed that my dress's pattern is blue roses. This reminds me that I had once fall in love with blue roses. I think they are beautiful. So I guess it is really my fate to wear this dress and my theme for the night will be

-蓝蔷薇-

ain't it beautiful? XD

I only managed to find a dress but not a high heel. was a bit disappointed. I had been searching everywhere for a silver-coloured high heel cos I think silver suits my dark blue dress best. I found two but one of them was way too expensive (for me) and another one was out of stock for my size (7). T.T So I bought none of them.

As it was late already I went home without a high heel. =( Anyway I was happy cos I bought my dress at least.
^ ^

Anyone wanna sponsor me a silver high heel? lol

And now comes to the main event. This was how I celebrated my last-teen birthday.

I was trying to unlock my house door after reaching home from Timesquare when suddenly two of my classmates, Cheow and Jackie appeared behind us. Why were these two guys coming to our house at this late night? (it was around 10.15pm that time) I continued to unlock the door without bothering much about their sudden appearance. It was hard to open the door tonight and I wondered why. Then I finally figured it out. Someone was defending the door from inside. So I stopped there. I was sure they're up to something so I just waited patiently for them to open the door.

After a few minutes, the door opened in a slow pace. I hesitated to go in for a moment cos the door was only opened to a small space. Then Stephanie sneaked out her head and said, "Come in lah. No need to be shy."

As expected, they're preparing a surprise party for me. Walking in, I saw the most romantic scene ever. Lighted candles were fixed to the floor in a kind of way that written "生日快乐". The light was off in the first place so the whole house was in darkness. With only the candles shining brightly on the floor...I can only say that it was really wonderful! I was speechless and just stood there blankly, amazed by the decoration. Then someone suddenly broke the silence by counting 1, 2, 3 and then everyone started to sing birthday songs of different versions along with clapping hands. I was so touched and couldn't stop smiling. Embarrassedly, I thanked them one by one and bowed as my way of gratitude. =)

-this was when I was not in yet. the time when they're defending the door from inside lol-

-生-

-日-

-快-

-乐-

-lighting in progress. i was still waiting outside-

-生日快乐-
romantic no?

-i looked like a ghost-

-with WeyChyi, my BFF-

-with LuLu, the indian girl who betrays her own race by joining chinese gang lol-

-with Cheow, the best (fastest) driver i have ever met XD-

-with LiPing, the chief cook in our house and also the mischievous one ever XD-

-with Sam, the Korean-lookalike guy in our batch and also the drummer-

And now comes to the
highlight of the surprise party. My friends bought doughnuts instead of a normal birthday cake for me. This was quite special lol. Like normal birthday celebration, candles-blowing session is a must.

-preparing the candles on top of the doughnuts for me to blow-

-the candles were ready-
i just noticed that there were only 8 candles after i saw this pic.

Before blowing the candles, I was asked to make three wishes. My first wish was to hope that our prom night can be a success. The second was I wish everyone can enjoy the last two months studying together before graduation. The third wish no need to mention lah. Hahaha. After that, I started to blow the candles. This was really the best part of life. The candles wouldn't stop flirking!! Even how hard I blew them but they would just returned alive! I seriously didn't get it. I thought it was me who didn't know how to blow but the truth is I had been fooled by them!! The candles was actually Magic Candles, which are not easily get blowed out. It was WeyChyi's set up. She bought the candles in a shop that sells all those weird stuffs when we shopped during the day at Timesquare. No wonder they were so excited before I started to blow. Duhh. So in the end I used up alot of energy and time to finish them up. F
elt like I have almost 断气 (stop breathing). LOL

-this is a short video during the last moment of candles-blowing session-
sorry if the vid cant be played. my line sucked during the uploading.

After that, it was doughnuts-cutting time. ^ ^

-notice anything odd in this pic?-

I was actually using a 菜刀 (vege knife?) to cut the doughnuts!! See how big was the knife! LOL I use that to cut vege especially carrot when cooking ^~^

-with Stephanie, my 'master' and also my consultant XD-

we purposely took this pic to show our joining half-doughnuts =P
omg my mouth looked so weird cos it was full of doughnuts and my hair looked so messy cos i had not taken my bath yet after coming back lol

We spent the rest of the night chatting away until the clock strikes 12. Until the day I was born. I had fun serving them doughnuts one by one cos they're all so shy to be "suap" by me. Wakakakaka. I also showed them the dress I bought and they asked me to put it on for them to have a look. I couldn't reject cos last time I did the same thing to one of them. =P So I was dressed in my newly-bought gown while playing my guitar in the middle of the celebration surrounded by a group of friends. It did feel nice though. =)

Then, the story ended here.

Thanks for everything guys. Love you all.

tired like hell but still blogging

i feel like singing my current favourite song "To Mother" to my mom as Mother's Day present. lols. but i dont think my mom will understand japanese. maybe i can translate to her. hahaha.

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

today went to Neway at Berjaya Timesquare to sing K. it was my fifth time to sing K since i came here further my studies. i did enjoy myself but the time was too short and i didnt get enough of it. what a pity. anyway it's quite cheap so still worth it lah.

well there's nothing special happened today in the mall. felt nothing. it was friday so not much people seen shopping around. i was hoping for something unusual to happen. but to my disappointment there isnt any. zannen~ and what i did after sing K was loafing around, chatting, sitting down to get some rest, loafing around again (to look for hotties) and then dining at Leo's corner. quite boring but at least the dinner was great and i managed to buy tissues and cotton which have been long running out of. lols.

i was wearing a sleeveless top (无肩上衣 is it called like that in english?) with a short skirt. i dont use the word mini cos i dont think it's short enough to be called mini. lols. actually it's not my style of outfit to wear like this but due to some reasons i think it's better to wear like this.

first, i will look odd in my group of friends if i dont wear like this as all of them wear like this. although i like to be different that doesnt mean i want to be the center of attraction in the group. so wearing the same with others can avoid attention from people surrounding.

second, i bought these clothes for new year and it's a waste of money if i only wear them during the season. so must find time to wear as much as possible instead of keeping them in the wardrobe. lols.

maybe i will get used of wearing like this after some time. actually i dont like to wear so less when going out. cos i feel that it's very rugi to let people see so much of our 'flesh'. lols. will often think myself as cheap for wearing like this. but what can i do? this is life. im so damn easy to be influenced by people around. maybe it seems nothing. maybe i just being too traditioned. or backwards. but i guess i need to accept the change. think positively. actually it's not that bad. just be more open-minded. do i make the right decision?

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

somehow...i think being single is not that bad after all. lols. but somehow...i will envy those couples who are getting along so sweet and romantic. who wont? i think i just havent met the right guy. waiting in progress. lols.

p/s: im not the extrovert type XP
