The Making of Tifa Lockhart Cosplay Costume

In my previous post I mentioned about I'm going to cosplay, no?
After some consideration, I've finally made up my mind to cos Tifa Lockhart. So I started to look for materials to make the costume and somehow I managed to finish it in 4 days. Special thanks to my beloved mom and sister who helped me alot during the process. The sewing skills may not be as good as real tailors out there (cos I was using an old sewing machine that doesn't really function well like how it used to be) but I've tried my best. :)

So this is it. My first try in cosplay costume making.

That's all for the process of costume-making...

Ready to see the final version?

So, what do you think?

It is not perfect but I am quite satisfied with the result. What I fear is not the quality of the costume but it's me who have no confidence in cosplaying Tifa due to my skinny figure. I thought of doing push-up every day to build some muscle and strength but I stopped after a few days cos it was very tiring. You can see how weak I am. Duh.

Anyway, I'm really excited to cosplay for my first time and I hope everything will go smoothly like I imagined. Hahaha :P

Sungha Jung Surprise Opening Dance

Guess what?

It's Sungha dancing !!

*scream*

Recorded this video during the free performance sponsored by BTTW soap manufacturer at their kiosk at Kuching International Airport (KIA) on 23 June 2012. It was an opening dance before Sungha "showed off" his guitar skills and the dance theme was Wonder Girls' Nobody! :D

Well I think Sungha looked quite awkward in dancing, probably because he's too skinny and turned out to be looking like a skeleton dancing. Haha. But he did a great job as a newbie in dancing cos I believe he only practised the dance moves once during the rehearsal in the morning. *thumbs up* I can see that he was struggling hard to dance well and his serious face made him look so cute !! xD But I think there were too many dancers behind him which made the whole situation look kinda messy. Just my opinion though. :)

So yeah, please enjoy the video I managed to capture despite the blurry image quality and screams from all the die-hard fans! Oh well~

A Thousand Years pt 2 Live Performance

Greetings. It has been around a month since I last posted a blogpost. So here's a video of me performing A Thousand Years pt 2 live during a college dinner few semesters back.

Well, sorry to say, but I made a mistake for not using a microphone for my guitar cos during rehearsal the guitar sound was louder than my voice so I thought of not using mic for guitar, just used for singing only due to my soft voice. But I was wrong. During the real deal, the guitar sound couldn't really be heard much, as commented by the audience who sat far behind after the dinner, and the video too, proves that the guitar sound was not loud enough. *heartbreak*

Anyway, I hope I did perform well that night. The audience was totally enjoying their dinner cos it was damn noisy as from what I heard in the video. Lol.

So, what 'you guys think?
Criticisms and comments are most welcome! :D
