Have you ever heard of ulat mulong?

Well it is what you see in the picture below.

If you're Sarawakian or if you ever visit Sarawak, you'll surely get to see this kind of cute fatty worm selling at the wet market in any places. It is known as sago worm or grub, a famous delicacy in Sarawak. It is believed to contain 3-7% of protein, 10-30% fat and the rest is water. Just like the worm in fruits, it is safe to be eaten, either raw or cooked.

I've tried this ulat mulong for my first time yesterday.
-before it was cooked-

It was my big sister who bought it for us yesterday morning.
We didn't dare to eat it raw so we fried it.-cooked-

Despite the look, it's very delicious. It tasted like french fries with abit of cheese. lol.
I think I was brave enough to dare to eat this worm. Can consider joining Fear Factor already.

Useful Tips That You Probably Don't Know

Ants Problem: Ants hate cucumbers. Keep the skin of cucumbers near the place of ant hole.

To get pure and clean ice: Boil water first before freezing.

To make the mirror shine: Clean it with spirit.

To remove chewing gum from clothes: Keep the clothes in the freezer for an hour.

To whiten white clothes: Soak white clothes in hot water with a slice of lemon for 10 minutes.

To give a shine to your hair: Add one teaspoon of vinegar to your hair, then wash it.

To get maximum juice out of lemons: Soak lemons in hot water for an hour, and then juice them.

To avoid smell of cabbage while cooking: Keep a piece of bread on the cabbage in the vessel while cooking.

To get rid of the smell of fish from your hands: Wash your hands with a little apple vinegar.

To avoid tears while cutting onions: Chew gum.

To boil potatoes quickly: Skin potatoes from one side only before boiling.

To boil eggs quickly: Add salt to the water and boil.

To remove ink from clothes: Put toothpaste on the ink spots generously and let it dry completely, then wash.

a night to remember #2

On the 13th of October.

Me and my classmates had done the craziest thing ever.

Yes.

My English lecturer is a dancer.

A great indian dancer.

He's been performing for various shows in Astro. (for real!)

It's hard to believe that a lecturer = a dancer rite?

But I'm proud to have a lecturer who can dance well.

*smile*

I never ask him why he wanted to be a lecturer though.

Maybe someday.

"These are my students~" With a wide smile, he said that to the other dancers. Proudly. Nice

show off. lol.

Tonight, we acted like some big fans of him because to meet him we waited very long behind the changing room after his shows.
