YUI

Hello there. Lemme introduce an idol of mine.

Her name is Yoshioka Yui. Better known as her stage name YUI. With all capital letters.

She is a Japanese singer-songwriter.

I first heard one of her songs in a popular anime series Bleach. And the song title was Life. It was the third ending theme for that anime.

I can't explain why I simply fall in love with her voice since then. That time was 2007 I guess. Almost 5 years back then.

Till now, my admiration towards her never fades.

She was born on 26 March 1987. So she's 25 years old now. 4 years older than I am.

Her main instrument is the guitar, but she plays bass, piano and drums too.

One thing is that, I prefer singer-songwriters far more than just plain singers cos they write their own songs and do not depend on songwriters to write songs for them. Just my taste though. Didn't mean that singers are bad. Both are great. :)

I hope one day I can watch her concert and meet her face-to-face.

That's my only wish before I leave this world I would say. Though after I die I might as well go to her concert for FREE (as a ghost). *troll-faced*

It was YUI's 24th birthday.

"Tanjobi omedeto gozaimasu~ YUI-chan!!"

And also my third performance at night.

For Earth Hour.

Sang the song "Taiyou No Uta"

which means - A Song to the Sun.

There was some technical errors during my performance.

It happened that the microphone was so loose that it kept falling down little by little, making it further and further away from my mouth and so my voice sounded softer and softer, ruining my performance. I couldn't give out my hand to hold the mic since both of my hands were busy playing the guitar.

I guess it was just not my lucky night.

new LOOK~

It was midnight when I was staying up late to revise for exam tomorrow...(it was a week ago but I'm only posting it now :P....well I couldn't expect more since I'm using my roomate's laptop to blog....I can only online when my friend's not using)

and then I suddenly got the urge to search for my idol's news....(I was actually tired of revising :P)

...and I searched....

...through YouTube...

...to my amazed...

She got a new hairstyle!!

It was a short haircut^^ my first impression was "wow she looks younger with the haircut right now" and another thought of me was "I like her old hairstyle better"....haha...that's because her old hairstyle looked more mature and ladyish...the one now is opposite XD

anyway...it's a good thing to try out new look....and she still looks cool like always *~*
