It was a Sunday evening. Just before sunset. I purposely chose a time when I believed no one would be around the campus but there were still some people passing by, unfortunately. One of them was an international student. Not sure from which country though. He was jogging while listening to his ipod when he saw me in Tifa's outfit and slowed down his pace. Then he suddenly burst out "Good job!" at us(me with 2 photographers). OMG. I was really surprised when I heard that. Happily I thanked him and he jogged away with a thumbs-up. Such a sweet guy. xD

After that, without wasting time, I began to look for beautiful spots around the campus and started the photoshoot. Was afraid that the sun will be going down in a bit. Fyi, all pictures were taken using android 5mp phone and samsung galaxy tab so the image quality is just so-so. Hope that I could win a digital cam for National Quiz this time. Won a wireless mouse previously. Winners will be announced around June. Wish me luck. *fingers-crossed*

The photoshoot ended after an hour. Was totally exhausted for posing in front of the cam cos I didn't warm-up beforehand. Especially those martial art poses. Tried my best already. :P

To say the truth, I am not really satisfied with my photos. It's not because of the photography skills but me. My face is just not photogenic enough to be a cosplayer. Kinda down to feel that way though.

Anyway, still thanks a bunch to my buddy for the make-up and everything. Not forgetting Amy who borrowed me her brown eye shadow too. I don't have much make-up stuffs. And to my dear sister, thanks alot for shooting a video of me crapping for 6 minutes non-stop. I bet you had a hard time walking backwards while holding the galaxy tab. Haha.

Cosplay or Crossplay?

Hey~ Guess what? I am going to take part in a cosplay event under Animation Appreciation Club at my uni for co-curricular activity. Well it's my first time to cosplay and I'm still wondering which character suits me best. I have two characters in mind now, Tifa Lockhart (FF7: Advent Children) and Shikamaru Nara (Naruto). Here are some attached pictures of them. :)

So, what do you think of these two characters?

Should I cosplay(Tifa) or crossplay(Shikamaru)? Or other than these?

Actually I prefer Tifa but the cost to make her costume is kinda expensive due to the leather type of clothes material. As for Shikamaru, the costume is okay but I think the character's not as cool as Tifa perhaps. If possible I'd like to cosplay Tifa. Look cooler~ haha!

Oh, and if anyone has any experience or interest in cosplay, please share your thoughts here kay. I need your opinions people~ thanks yeah if you do so :D
